I write to inform you that my Mother Elizabeth Walker of Lowdham in the Southwell District has been in the receipt of Parish Relief for some years and the Parish have taken it of saying that I am Able to Provide for her which is quite false as I have [nothink] but what I work ^for^ as Bricklayer and has five Children under ten years of Age my Mother is not with me she has a house to her self and Endeavours for a living but It is Impossible for her to live without Asistance as she is Sixty five years of Age and at this time has nothing to Rely upon but Parish Pay
