We are going to be working with Aardman Academy on a special event for families. A day-long workshop will be held at The National Archives on Saturday 7th February for families to explore creating stop-motion animation inspired by some of the documents held in the collection.

The Aardman Academy is the in-house training department of Aardman Animations, studios and home of world famous Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the Sheep and more.

The sessions are designed for 11-14yr olds and they must be accompanied by one adult who is prepared to get stuck into the animation process too! An additional space per family group will also be available, either for an extra adult or a sibling.
