On 23 January, Arts Council England hosted a joint event with The National Archives as part of archiving the arts. This event brought together arts organisations and practitioners, with archivists and funding organisations. It covered the South East and East regions and was held at Arts Council England in London.

There was a range of talks and cases studies on:

  • archives
  • archiving the arts
  • digital preservation and archives
  • funding
  • networking opportunities

The discussions aimed to support sharing of skills and knowledge and lead to future collaboration and project development.

The event was part of network of regional workshops which will be held throughout the UK. See some of the presentations, papers and documents from the day below:
