Entry enrolled on the Close Rolls, recording a letter sent to the sheriff of Hampshire requesting that he arrange for up to 100 beasts, including oxen and cows, to be provided for the sustenance of the army.

 Extract:

‘…that, immediately after having viewed the present, [he is to cause to be provided] oxen, bullocks and cows up to the number of one hundred beasts within the county…’
