About

Lopa is the founder of two ventures in online media and a data-driven marketing consultancy. She is also the Chair of equality charity Diversity UK and Deputy Chair and Board Member of the NHS Devon Integrated Care Board.

She has previously been Chair of the National Science & Media Museum Advisory Board and a Trustee of The Science Museum Group. She was a Non-Executive Director of the Intellectual Property Office, a Lead Reviewer of the Ministry of Defence Service Museums, a Council Member of The Open University, and a member of the DCMS BBC Charter Review Advisory Board. She has also been a Non-Executive Director of the British Education Communications and Technology Agency, which was a non-departmental public body of the Department for Education. She has held trusteeships in arts and education charities.

Lopa is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Fellow of the Institute of Data & Marketing. She holds a BTec in Computer Science, a BSc degree in Biochemistry, and a Diploma in Corporate Governance.

Lopa was awarded an MBE for services to the creative industries in 2009 and was conferred an Honorary Doctorate (DUniv) by the Open University in 2017.
