PhD opportunities

The National Archives is inviting expressions of interest from potential co-supervisors of Collaborative Doctoral Partnerships (CDPs) starting in the academic year 2020-21. The deadline for expressing interest is Monday 16 September 2019.

Three CDPs will be available in partnership with The National Archives starting in 2020-21, subject to confirmation by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).

Selection process and timetable

The National Archives is only able to select three studentships to nominate to the AHRC, and therefore the selection process will be very competitive.
