Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request the following information.

The number of British citizens who have died abroad due to drinking related incidents.

If possible between these dates 1st May 2015-2016.

I would also like to know what country the fatalities took place.

If you do not have this information please let me know where I might be able to get hold of it.

Your request has been handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).

I can confirm that The National Archives does not hold this information.

As the official public archive of the United Kingdom government, we hold records covering more than 1,000 years of history. Government records which have been selected for permanent preservation are sent to The National Archives.

As the information you have requested relates to 2015-16, it will not be held at The National Archives.  On this occasion, we will not be progressing your request further.
