I would like to know how many FOI requests were made to The National Archives with regards to the records transferred from Glasgow military records office of WW2 army service personnel between the Dates of 01/08/2022 to 31/01/2023 and how many requests were answered in the allocated days allowed under the Freedom of Information Act.

The Ministry of Defence is transferring almost 10 million service personnel records to The National Archives. Although many of these records are not from WW2, we have understood your request for ‘records transferred from Glasgow military records office of WW2 army service personnel’ to refer to this cohort of records. We are unable to specify which of these records relate to WW2 service. Please do clarify your question if we have misinterpreted it.
Between 1st August 2022 and 31st January 2023, we received 3255 requests for service personnel records transferred from the Ministry of Defence (and as used by the Glasgow Military Records Office). During this time, 1313 were resolved within the allocated days allowed under the Freedom of Information Act.
