I would like to know how much taxpayer money your office, The National Archives, has spent on food and beverages this last financial year, April 2020 to the present day.
If possible, I would like to be given a total figure of spending for the past financial year, alongside an individual breakdown of which money has been spent on what (either generally – i.e. ‘chocolate’ – or to (a) specific company/ies), and when, however if the later is not possible the former will suffice.
Finally, I appreciate that you may not have accounts concerning smaller amounts of money and in this case – and only in this case – I would request information in the same way I have set out above of spending concerning purchases of £500 or more.
The total figure of food and beverage spending for the financial year 2020/21 provided below is accurate to the date on which this request was received, 16 March 2021.
Total amount – £3,490.21.
This figure includes a local charity contribution of food stuffs in the region of £500.
The total figure can be split into the following amounts by supplier, but no further itemised breakdown is available.
- £1063.16 – Bouygues Energies and Services (Facilities Management provider)
- £2038.41 – Graysons (Catering contractor)
- £388.64 – COSTCO
