Request
I have been unable to source the Equality Mainstreaming reports on your website that you are required to publish under the public sector equality duty.
I would appreciate if you are able to forward me the last two reports for your organisation together with the below information:
- No. of employees who have declared a disability
- No. of employees who have advised no disability
- No. of employees who declined to answer
- Total headcount
Outcome
No information held.
Response
I can confirm that The National Archives does not hold this information.
Please note that the staff who deliver the services for QPS also support wider legislation publishing work across the UK and therefore no individual member of staff at The National Archives is fully allocated to QPS. Most of the QPS’s work is handled by The National Archives’ Legislation Services team, two other individuals from our Policy team, as well as our Chief Executive.
The National Archives proactively publishes information on disabled members of staff in our annual report which may be relevant to your research. Please see page 53 of the report for reference:
https://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/documents/annual-report-acccounts-2019-2020.pdf
Please note that this information concerns the TNA workforce as a whole and is not limited to just those members of staff who deliver the services for QPS.
We do not believe the Office of the Queen’s Printer for Scotland is subject to The Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties) (Scotland) Regulations 2012, and consequently the duty to publish equality mainstreaming reports, therefore does not apply.
