In 1993 the Lord Chancellor gave permission for Treasury to retain records for two or three years as they had a backlog.
I would like to see any correspondence between Treasury and the Public Record Office on the issue.

and we do not hold correspondence between the Public Record Office and HM Treasury regarding an application to retain records in this year.
