Born, 1915. Enlisted in London, 1934. Served with 2nd Battalion in China, 1938-1940, and Singapore, 1940-1942. Was a prisoner of war, 1942-1945. Served in Ceylon, 1949-1951, and with the British Army of the Rhine, 1955-1956. Discharged, 1960.
