Description:

Born in Victoria, British Columbia, 1883. Commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant, 1902. Served with 4th Battalion in South Africa. Transferred to the Buffs, 1908. Was in the reserve at the start of World War I, when he was called up and sent as part of reinforcements to 1st Battalion, the King's Royal Rifle Corps (60th Rifles). Served on the Western Front. Was a prisoner of war, Nov 1914-1918. Served in North Russia with the North Russian Expeditionary Force, 1919. Discharged, c.1920. Served as a Private in 17th Battalion, Sussex Home Guard, during World War II. Died, 1958.
