Visiting justices of Bodmin gaol permitted to order a new "Tread Wheel without a Corn Mill" to be erected in Bodmin bridewell, and to enlarge the hand corn mill in order to grind sufficient corn for all prisoners.

 

Mrs. Mules, in consideration of her long services at Launceston gaol, granted a pension of £15 p.a. "she residing in and taking care of the House formerly the Gaol, for the use of the Prisoners at the Launceston Assizes."

 

Christopher Mules, son of the late gaoler, granted £30, as a compensation for the loss of that office.
