Description Cineon is an image format created by Kodak designed to represent scanned film images. Individual Cineon files are raster images, however the typical use is for a sequence of Cineon images to represent frame-by-frame digital motion picture video. Digital Moving Picture Exchange Bitmap (DPX) is directly descended from Cineon.
