What was it like to be a child in Victorian times? We’re now going to use historical sources to answer the question: what was it like to be a child in Victorian times? Let’s start with these two photographs of children. Study each in turn using the four steps: Look, Ask, Conclude, Expand. Think about the lives of the children in these two photographs. How do their lives differ from each other? How are their lives different from yours? Click on one of the sources to study it in more detail.
