Catalogue ref: INF 3/1664
Rugged-looking soldiers descend by parachute over enemy territory, which appears to be jungle. They are wearing an early pattern of jump helmet, which would suggest the piece is from the early part of the war. However they appear to be jumping from Dakota aircraft, which were not in service with the RAF until late 1943.
