"Diving Squadron of Spitfires" by Roy Nockolds, 1942

A diving Squadron of Spitfires attacking a formation of German bombers at the coastline, sending at least two crashing down in flames. Although the piece has been dated 1942 by the artist this is almost certainly a depiction of the Battle of Britain.
