The British child is waving to a Land Army girl, collecting the harvest. The catalogue description reads ‘one of 16 pieces for a booklet set in Egypt'..

The Ahmad and Johnny booklet was about an Egyptian boy who had come to live with a British family and was used as a vehicle to show how enlightened and righteous and powerful Britain was and how the country had pulled together to fight fascism, which was a threat to both nations.
