Eleven smiling servicemen advancing, bearing national flags, including those of the USA and the Soviet Union, but with the Union Jack to the forefront. Massed ranks of armed forces are clearly visible in the background. This image was most likely tied into the Victory of the Allies (United Nations) hence the smiling rather than stern faces of the troops.
