Thomas Derrick was a British painter and illustrator of a wide range of books. Born in Bristol, his artistic career also included mural, stained glass and portraiture. Educated at the Royal College of Art, where he exhibited his work and later became an instructor of decorative painting for five years, he also contributed artwork to publications such as Punch.
