The Malayan emergency

Lecture material (KV 4/408)

This file consists of a single volume of previously unregistered typescript speaking notes (with manuscript additions) for lectures delivered in the 1950s by J P Morton and Hugh Carleton Greene on the Malayan Emergency. Greene's lecture focuses on his then role as head of the Emergency Information Services. Morton's lectures cover the role of intelligence in the Emergency more widely, and detail the history of events, and the challenges facing the intelligence services, and how these were tackled.
