Disposition strategy
The acquisition and disposition strategy of The National Archives sets out the circumstances in which public records of local or specialist interest, or those not selected for permanent preservation, will be offered to places of deposit and other archival institutions.
Further information on the background to the strategy and the strategy itself can be found at: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/recordsmanagement/selection/default.htm
If you have any comments on, or questions about places of deposit or The National Archives' relationship with other archival institutions, please email nas@nationalarchives.gov.uk.
