Did you know?

Records of military medals and decorations are often used by researchers when looking for a person. Medal records, however, do not usually contain biographical information.

Many records relating to decorations and honours were destroyed by German bombing in the Second World War.

Searching the Catalogue can often give you many direct and indirect results. Try using keywords such as "decoration AND Medal AND Committee" to help narrow your search.
