Address to the people of Lambeth, 1839

Although the 1832 Reform Act was given the prefix 'Great', it left many radicals dissatisfied and there was renewed agitation for reform. This 'address to the people of Lambeth' from the Lambeth Political Union claims that the country is still run by a 'selfish, short-sighted, and tyrannical aristocracy' and calls for universal adult male suffrage, salaries for MPs, and equal electoral districts.
