'Bill of Rights' for Northern Ireland
| This document considers a request from the Northern Ireland Civil
Rights Association for a 'Bill of Rights' to protect the Catholic
minority in Northern Ireland. Catholics had long been discriminated
against by the Protestant-dominated political system, for things like
local housing and jobs. They compared their position to that of 'coloured'
