Appeared personally M[aste]r Jelfe, and on ye behalfe of Cap[tain] Rich[ar]d
Parrot now at Bristoll produced a Warrant from his Roy[a]ll Highness Prince
George of Denmarke etc Lord High Admiral of Great Britain Ireland etc
and of all Her Ma[jes]ties Plantations etc for the granting of a Comm[issi]on
or L[ett]ers of Marque to the said Richard Parrot and in pursuance of
Her Ma[jes[ties Instructions to Privateers made the following Declaration
viz. that the said Cap[tain] Parrot his ship is called the Jamaica Gally,
and is of ye burthen of ab[ou]t one hundred & seaventy Tonns, that
the said Rich[ar]d Parrot goeth Cap[tai]n of her, that she carryes Eight
Guns, twenty five men, twenty five small Armes, twenty Cutlaces, Six barrells
of powder, Twenty Rounds of great Shott, and ab[ou]t Five hund[re]d w[eigh]t
of small shott, that the said Ship is victualled for Six months, has two
Suites of Sailes, three Anchors, three Cables, and ab[ou]t two hund[re]d
w[eigh]t of spare Cordage, that W[illia]m Parrot goes Lieuten[an]t , Stephen
Williams Gunner, M[aste]r Jones Gunner, Benja[men] Bush Carpentar and
Humphrey Williams Cooke of ye said Ship, And that W[illia[m] Swimmer Esq[uire]
Henry Swimmer, Abraham Elton, & John
Elbridge of Bristoll Merch[ant]s, and he the Declarent are the Owners
& Setters out of the said Ship.

Rogers to set forth the Duke Frigott of the burthen of ab[out] three hund[re]d

and Twentyeth Day of Aprill in the yeare of Our Lord 1708 and in the seaventh
yeare
