  3. To the Hono[ra]ble S[i]r Christofer Wrenn K[nigh]t Surveyor
  4. Gen[er]all of his Ma[jes]ties Works
  5. That the Chapter house in the Abbey of Westm[inster] being a
  6. Repository for the publick Records of the Nation is verey
  7. much out of repair Especially in the Glasing whereby the
  8. Raine beats In & Endamageth the Same Records to both the
  9. publick and private Coss that the Ceiling of the passage there
  10. was ordered to be repaired about Six Years Since & Scaffolds were
  11. placed in order thereto w[hi]ch have remained there ever Since
  12. but ever Since no Workmen came to repair
  13. I am S[i]r Yo[u]r most
  14. humble Serv[an]t
