Browsing the family and estates index

This search option allows you to browse the indexes of the National Register of Archives (NRA) alphabetically.

The family and estate index includes references to the nature and location of papers of titled families, the landed gentry and other families.

To browse the Family and Estate Index of the NRA select a letter from the links on the previous page and then select the second relevant letter. This will produce a list of family names beginning with the two letters that were chosen.

For example, if you wish to find all references to Beaumont then you can click on 'B' followed by 'BE'. This will provide a list of family names beginning with BE, which would include Beaumont.
