Hot off the press!! New Publication Scheme

The National Archives' new Freedom of Information Publication Scheme is now available. Approved by The Information Commissioner on 24 October 2005, the new publication scheme replaces both the Public Record Office scheme and the Historical Manuscripts Commission scheme.
Natalie Ceeney, Chief Executive of The National Archives, says:
'Until now, The National Archives has maintained two separate publication schemes: one for the Public Record Office and the other for the Historical Manuscripts Commission. The approval of the new scheme marks a further step toward full integration'.
