Free A level workshop: to save or not to save?

As part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science we are running a free workshop for A level students at The National Archives on Friday 13 March 2009.

The workshop, entitled 'To save or not to save?', will be a valuable experience for students of history, humanities, social science or science.

We will introduce students to current debates in cultural heritage, highlighting the balance between public expectation, collection care, economic cost and environmental impact. Students will be able to speak to experts in the fields of anthropology, materials science, economics and environmental science.
