Manuscripts accepted in lieu of tax

The Government has accepted the following manuscripts in lieu of tax and they now await allocation to suitable repositories.

Noyon sacramentary 10th-11th century
Greek gospel lectionary 11th-12th century

Any library, record office or analogous institution in the United Kingdom interested in being allocated the papers should contact National Advisory Services, The National Archives, Kew, Surrey, TW9 4DU, email: nas@nationalarchives.gov.uk, in the first instance.

Applications for allocation of any of these manuscripts must be received in writing at the above address by 12 January 2007.
