Manuscripts Accepted in Lieu of Tax

The Government has accepted the following manuscripts in lieu of tax and they now await allocation to suitable repositories.

Peter of Poitiers' Book, 12th century
Kerdeston Hunting Manuscripts, 15th century

Any library, archive or analogous institution in the United Kingdom interested in being allocated the manuscripts should contact National Advisory Services, The National Archives, Kew, Richmond, Surrey, TW9 4DU or email: nas@nationalarchives.gov.uk for further details in the first instance. Applications for allocation of material in either case must be received in writing at the same address by 17 November 2006.
