Writer of the month

Peter Hennessy will give a talk at The National Archives on Tuesday 9 July at 14:00, as part of our Writer of the Month series.

Lord Hennessy is Attlee Professor of Contemporary British History at Queen Mary, University of London, a Fellow of the British Academy and President of the Friends of The National Archives.
 
In 2010 Lord Hennessy was appointed an independent crossbench peer. His latest book is Distilling the frenzy: writing the history of one's own times.
