08 October 2012
A project recently completed in partnership with Warwickshire County Record Office has almost doubled the number of entries for Warwickshire on the Manorial Documents Register.
The online register now lists over 5,000 entries for Warwickshire, providing users with the location of these specially protected documents.
The earliest manorial document located for the county is for Atherstone and dates from 1250.
The index is searchable by county, parish or manor name. Search the database free of charge at www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/mdrImage copyright: Warwickshire County Record Office
