Celebrating diversity at The National Archives
03 November
We are offering a series of free public talks next week to highlight the diversity of our collections.
Visit The National Archives in Kew and listen to talks which include:
- Untold histories: black Britons during the period of the British slave trade, c. 1660-1807
- When a woman is not a woman: how the Ministry of Pensions constructed gender in the 1950s
- Sovereign, squire and rebel: Maharajah Duleep Singh and the heirs of a lost kingdom
- Anxiety, dread and disease: British ports 1834-1870
See our Events page for more information on our talks programme. You can also listen to our podcasts, which will be available online soon after each event.
