#AskArchivists Day on Twitter
10 June
On Thursday 9 June 2011 we spent the day answering your questions on Twitter.
Along with more than 100 national and local archives from around the world, The National Archives took part in #AskArchivists Day. Throughout the day, people used their Twitter accounts to ask us questions about our collection, online resources and how to research at The National Archives. Our experts were on hand to answer questions that included researching everything from military honours to divorce to burial at sea, as well as archival practice and advice, conservation, digital preservation and web archiving.
In the afternoon, between 14:00 and 16:00, Oliver Morley, Chief Executive and Keeper, responded to questions as part of our 'Meet the Keeper' event.
