An online search tool allowing access to a range of digital resources related to early modern and 19th century Britain has just been launched. The website, Connected Histories, enables users to search for names, places and dates, as well as save, connect and share resources within a personal workspace. Launching with 11 major digital resources for the period 1500-1900, including British History Online, British Museum Images and Old Bailey Online, Connected Histories will add the index to The National Archives' Catalogue to its search facility later in the year.
The website is a joint project between the Universities of Sheffield, Hertfordshire and London and the Institute of Historical Research.
