Search tips

The Basic Search allows you to search across the Manorial Documents Register for Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Norfolk, the three Ridings of Yorkshire and all of Wales by just typing in a manor name. The Register can be searched by both standard manor name and variant name or alias. A search using a recognised variant name or alias will bring up results under the standard manor name. Example: a search for Bishops will bring up results for the Norfolk manor of Antingham Chamberlains.
