PSI directive transposition
The National Archives is leading on work to transpose amendments to the Directive on the Re-use of Public Sector Information, adopted by the European Union in June 2013, into UK law. As this work progresses explanatory documents and guidance and consultation papers will be published on this page, and we will be issuing regular updates of interest to producers, licensors and re-users of public sector information. We will be issuing announcements as more material is published - please subscribe to our Re-users and licensees RSS Feed to receive notice of these and other developments.
Please see our introductory guide below for more information about this work.

The National Archives' staff may be available to speak at conference events, workshops, seminars or meetings where public sector bodies can benefit from an explanation of the amended Directive and what it means for those bodies. If you are arranging such an event and would like a speaker on the amended Directive, please contact the Standards team. Where these events are not run by The National Archives, we are not able to take reservations for them. If there is an event listed that you would like to attend, please contact the Standards team and we will put you in touch with the event organiser.
