Design
The industrial revolution from the 18th to the 19th century saw a pioneering period of invention and design, and drawings here include early specifications in Chancery Rolls for machinery and instruments. There was also a surge in interior design and textiles. Included here are drawings for glassware, pottery and furniture, as well as numerous wallpaper patterns and fabrics.
