Crime
Infamous crimes and criminals are recorded in this collection, with materials including a sample of trial papers and correspondence from over the centuries, Metropolitan Police files on covert London gangland crime solving, and a large series of photographs of prisoners from the late nineteenth century. It does not include exhibits from trials, with the exception of a few, such as the visiting card (below) used as evidence against Oscar Wilde.
