I want to make a Freedom of Information request, could you please send me the following information with regards to the organisation's Mobile Phone contract(s):
 
1.       Existing Supplier(s) - If there is more than one supplier please split the contract up including the contract value, number of users, duration, contract dates and internal contact details.
2.       Total contract value- If there isn't a total contract value please cans you provide me with the latest annual spend on mobile phone for each network provider.
3.       Number of Users- Number of connections for each network provider.
4.       Duration of the contract- please state if the contract also include contract extensions for each provider.
5.       Call off Contract/Framework Agreement Start Date- please provide me with information on when the framework commenced and include the month and year and day if possible for each network provider.
6.       Call off Contract/Framework Agreement Expiry Date- please provide me with information on when the framework expires and include the month and year and day if possible for each network provider.
7.       Contract/Framework Agreement Review Date- please provide me with the month and year and day if possible of when the organisation plans to review it mobile phone contracts for each network provider.
8.       The person within the organisation responsible for this particular contract. Can you send me the full contact details Contact Name, Job Title, Contact Number and direct email address for each network provider.
9. If the has more than one supplier can you please split the contract into to so they show information for both supplier including, total contract value, users, duration, and the other dates.

Thank you for your enquiry of 11 February 2013 under the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 2000, in which you asked for information about mobile telephone and PBX/VOIP maintenance contracts.

The FOI Act 2000 gives you the right to know whether we hold the information you require and, if so, to be provided with that information, subject to any exemptions which may apply.

With regards to mobile phones our response applies to all handsets, whether they are voice enabled or not:

1. Existing Supplier(s): Vodafone UK
2. Total Contract Value:
(a) £3,147 per month for mobile phone services listed below in item 3.
(b) £3,610 for Blackberry Server upgrade including the training of 7 ICT staff. This is a one off cost.
(c) Upgrade of the current Blackberry phone is currently under review.
3. Number of users: 145 voice and data connections, 29 3G Data connection services.
4. Duration of the contract: This has been revised and is currently under review. The duration for the new contract is 24 Months. Start date for new contract will be 31 March 2013 for 2 years.
5. Call off Contract/Framework Agreement Start Date: 1 January 2009.
6. Call off Contract/Framework Agreement Expiry Date: 1 July 2014.
7. Contract/Framework Agreement Review Date: 1 January 2013.

The National Archives also holds a mobile services contract with Orange UK Limited. This contract is for a SMS Text Business Continuity Service which is to be used in the event of a disaster. The annual spend is currently £32, however, there is in place a contingency spend allowance of £1000.
