Records of Royal Flying Corps officers are in series AIR 76. If you do not have the service number, the card index to names in The National Archives should help you to identify it.

Information is also available in both WO 339 and WO 374. You can search online to see whether information is available about officers with the surname in which you are interested. However, as the Catalogue gives initials of the first name rather than the full name, it is not possible to guarantee you have located the right person without coming in to The National Archives at Kew to undertake further research.
