Royal Flying Corps officers 1914 - March 1918:

The National Archives

The Catalogue

Records of Royal Flying Corps officers are in series AIR 76Links to the Catalogue. If you do not have the service number, the card index to names in The National Archives should help you to identify it.

Information is also available in both WO 339Links to the Catalogue and WO 374Links to the Catalogue. You can search online to see whether information is available about officers with the surname in which you are interested. However, as the Catalogue gives initials of the first name rather than the full name, it is not possible to guarantee you have located the right person without coming in to The National Archives at Kew to undertake further research.
