[Deposition of Debt due by Notes or Bills.]

IN THE COURT OF BANKRUPTCY,

                                                                        AT BASINGHALL STREET, LONDON,

                                                                        3rd December 1836.

George Henry Christie of King Street St. James´s in the

liberty of Westminster Auctioneer

 

being sworn and examined at the Time and Place aforesaid, upon his Oath saith, That Samuel Sotheby and Samuel Leigh Sotheby the persons against whom this Fiat is awarded and issued forth were at and before the date and issuing forth of the said Fiat, and still are justly and truly indebted to this Deponent and with William Manson in the sum of this deponent´s partner in the sum of thirty one pounds and seventeen shillings upon the under mentioned Bill of Exchange the consideration for which Bill were goods sold and for which the said sum of delivered by this deponent and his said partner to Francis Graves the drawer thereof for which said sum of £31 17 - or any part thereof, this Deponent hath not nor hath his said partner nor any person by their Order, or to this Deponent´s Knowledge or Belief, for their use, received any security or satisfaction whatsoever except the Bill of Exchange hereinafter mentioned.
