The RAF muster

, lists by service number all men on the strength of the new service. The muster gives date of enlistment into the service, their trade, period of engagement and rate of pay.
Service papers are in the series AIR 79
and are arranged by service number. A nominal index is available on microfilm in the series AIR 78
