In this illustrated talk, contemporary specialist Mark Dunton will focus on some key documents and what these reveal about Britain's changing relationship with the European Community between 1945 and 1975: the hopes, the issues, the difficulties, the attitudes of major figures, the diplomatic process, and perceptions of public opinion.
This is a free event. Tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis on the day and cannot be booked in advance.
