Using the 1911 census
Tuesday 17 November
14:00 - 15:00
The 1911 census returns for England and Wales record the details of more than 35 million people. Although many of the questions asked in 1911 were the same as in previous censuses, there is also additional information which provides a fascinating insight into the lives of our Edwardian ancestors. This talk will look at the process behind conducting the 1911 census as well as taking a detailed look at the census form itself.

This is a free event. Tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis on the day and cannot be booked in advance.
