Formal test scripts

There are 21 test scripts for the core requirements and 4 test scripts for the optional requirements. While The National Archives' ERMS testing programme has closed, interested parties may still use these scripts independently to assess product compliance with the 2002 requirements. However, it must be noted that The National Archives would have no involvement in any such assessments, and would not apply approval (or non-approval) status on any product tested in this manner.

Note: Case management and workflow requirements were not evaluated within the testing process.

Test Script Versions

During the course of the evaluation programme, minor edits were made to the test scripts (with the exception of TestScript 21). These edits primarily consisted of correcting typographic errors and enhancements to the document layout and format. Small additions were also made to help clarify some points.

Test scripts for the core requirements are bundled together. Test scripts for the optional requirements are in separate files. The original [v.1.0] and updated [v.1.1] versions are marked accordingly.
