The aim of this live taster session is to introduce educators to the features of the Virtual Classroom. An Education Officer from The National Archives will guide you through the features of the technology with an interactive session that utilises primary sources here at the Archives.
Throughout the session you will have the opportunity to take part in discussions through a microphone or in a chat box and carry out document analysis which demonstrates the versatility of the Virtual Classroom environment.
Preparing for the session is simple; all you will need is an internet connection and a microphone. You can test access to the virtual classroom before your session and to do this, you will need to, follow this Taster Session link and log in as a participant on the Blackboard Collaborate (Elluminate) system using your first name.
If you would like to book a taster session as part of an INSET day or as an individual, please do contact us to arrange a time and date to suit you by clicking on the 'Request a booking' button.
